Abstract

The rapid adoption of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines has fundamentally transformed software delivery, enabling unprecedented velocity and scalability. However, this transformation has simultaneously expanded the cyber attack surface, introducing novel security vulnerabilities that traditional, perimeter-based security models cannot adequately address. This paper presents a comprehensive framework for automated anomaly detection and response specifically designed for cloud-native DevOps environments, inspired by the patent specification of Mistry, Goswami, and Mavani (2024) on automated anomaly detection and response systems for cloud security.
